Like in previous years the club will be holding its annual bonfire night with professional fireworks display on the 1st Saturday in November. Gates open at 5.30pm for event, with bonfire being lit around 7pm and fireworks going off around 745. There will be both inside and outdoor food and drink stalls, as well as selection of fairground rides for the kids. As the event is popular advance purchase of tickets si strongly recommended to avoid potential of disappointment on the night. Tickets can be purchased from the Co-op and post Office at Unsworth Pole right up to Friday 2nd. The club will also be selling tickets from Monday to Saturday evenings also. It is £3 Under 12s & £5 adults when bought in advance- children in pushchairs free! Should any tickets remain they will be on sale for £4/ £6 on the day/ night. With the event being so popular it is recommended tickets are bought as early as possible in advance.

The club is located just down Pole Lane, before Pike Fold Golf Club. Once reach Unsworth Pole where Parr Lane and top of Sunnybank Road cross walk down past the side of the Bay Horse Pub (on your right) and Miami Pizza & Dreamz Beds on your left. Due to the popularity of the event please don’t attempt to drive down Pole Lane on the night, either park locally or walk to the event. The club is also hosting a Rod Stewart Tribute Night on Friday November 9th from 8pm. Tickets are just £8 each and available from the club also. August sees the club host two very different social/ fundraising events. Saturday 18th is the return of Kick, the Rock n Roll Band for their 4th gig at the club, with the band starting just after 8pm. Tickets are just £3 and non members are welcome too in our function room.

The late August Bank Holiday Monday sees the annual family fun day which has been going for a number of years now. The event starts at noon and runs till 5pm, and it is FREE entry. There will be even more stalls than previous years, with kids tombola, bottle stall, coconut shy, fair ground rides, penalty shoot out, golf, sweet stall and many more. As is tradition the mayor will also be paying the event a visit. The club is located down Pole Lane just past Bay Horse pub, before you reach Pike Fold Golf Club. Why not pop along? The bar & cafe will be open too, and new members are always welcome.

May is a busy month for the club with following events on to which all are welcome:

  • Sat May 19- FA Cup Final & Royal Wedding live on big screens at club on same day 2nds at home to Rochdale Catholic Club
  • Sun May 20- Don Jones Trios, return of the popular event amongst club players with 2pm start
  • Sat May 26- Champions League Final where Liverpool take on Madrid in the evening
  • Mon May 28- Car Boot Sale, 9am- 12.30pm, with traders welcome from 8am. Its £8 per car & £15 per van, (£5 for members by car). Anyone wishing to trade just turn up on the day, there is no need to reserve.

Dont forget Junior Training every Friday from 6.15pm onwards, ages 6 upwards welcome. No specific kit needed, £3 per week

The club will be hosting its annual BBQ on Sat June 2nd from 7pm onwards. Tickets are just £5, which buys burger in bun, hot dog, salads, sauces etc. £2 for under 12s, with choice of burger or hot dog. All members, families, friends and potential new members welcome. Don't forget every Friday from 615 is junior training, just turn up. £3 per week, no specific cricket kit needed.

April is a busy month for the club both on and off the field. Sat April 7 and 14th sees the first team kick of the season at home with series of friendlies at the Den, why not come along and lend your support? Sat April 28th is the first 2nd team home league game v Denton West. On the junior cricket front, outdoor training starts on Friday April 13th from 6.30pm and continues every Friday through to April.

The first social event of the summer is Steve Bailey's music band, Kick, who played couple of times at club very successfully in 2017. Tickets on sale for just £3 each from behind the bar. Saturday April 14th from 8pm is the time and date for your diaries.

The club's Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday April 19th in the function room from 7.30pm. The notifications were issued mid March, if you haven't received one just ask behind the bar. Social memberships are just £25, Senior Citizens £22, Cricket is £25 for junior & £65 for senior.
