Unsworth have signed Calvin Flowers, from South Africa as professional player for the 2010 season. He is a right hand bat and a right arm offbreak bowler. Twenty four years old Calvin is a top coach and a socialable guy who plays the game hard and demands the same from his team-mates. No photographs .... yet - but read his Cricinfo profile HERE. Now ... what nickname will our boys have for Calvin I wonder ..... not sure that the usual 'y' on the end of his surname is going to sound quite right! |

It is sad to report the passing away on the 30th of December of Mr Cecil Cole aged 96. Cec as he was known to everyone was a lifelong member of Unsworth and a very keen cricket supporter. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
